- Drug Prevention Art Competition – 2024 conducted by the Western Province Social Services Department
- The election for the establishment of the Western Provincial Council of Elders was held on 28.03.2024 at the main auditorium of the Provincial Council. After the resignation of the previous officers, the new officers were appointed.
- The Provincial Elderly Festival held in conjunction with the International Elderly Day was held on 17.10.2023 at Manelwatta Nagananda Buddhist Center Auditorium.
Introduction
Appreciation of working community who with sheer dedication sheds their sweat to build up this motherland of righteous nation is taken care of in this process.
Objectives
- To motivate the labour force to the level of executing their work in a satisfactory manner on their own motion.
- To add value to such labour.
Goal
Implementation of a streamlined programme in principle to continuously and properly appreciate the labour force in the Western Province.
